We've used this time to plan our trips for next year, rather than focusing on the experiences we might've missed out on. And it seems everyone else is doing the same.
Travel company Kuoni shares that "online searches for '2021 holiday' have increased by an incredible 124% since the end of March." So, the company did a little extra digging to discover the top 2021 travel destinations, according to Google.
After researching the holiday destinations most searched for 131 countries around the world, they put all that info into a convenient map that we have shared below:
As you can see, the world is ready to enjoy their 2021 holidays. There are a variety of destinations being searched, but there are clearly a handful that are searched more than most. We're breaking down those countries below!
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Kuoni's research shows that the UAE is the most searched 2021 travel destination. Eleven different countries researched taking a trip here. Home to cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the UAE offers both striking skyscrapers and calming coasts. It truly is the best of both worlds.
Canada
