Qatar Airlines Is Giving Back to Healthcare Heroes in the Form of 100,000 Flights
As the novel coronavirus sweeps through the world, our everyday life has been drastically shaken up. Everything feels a bit upside down and so terrifyingly uncertain.
Many of us have been fortunate enough to be sheltered in our homes, not having to face the grimacing reality others see regularly. The same can't be said for healthcare workers on the frontlines. Between nurses, doctors, paramedics, and more, healthcare heroes around the world are risking their lives to protect us all.
Qatar Airlines wants to give back to these real-life heroes by offering 100,000 complimentary tickets for healthcare professionals.
From now until May 18, 2020, healthcare workers everywhere can fill out this form to be entered to win a complimentary ticket. Once the application is approved, the professional will receive their roundtrip economy tickets.
The initiative from the airline company does come with a few restrictions, however. It's limited to doctors, medical practitioners, nurses, paramedics, lab technicians, clinical researchers, are pharmacists. On top of that, if you receive travel tickets, you can only book from May 12 through November 28, 2020. Plus, all travel must happen between May 26 and December 10, 2020.
If you or anyone you know is a healthcare professional on the frontlines, have them fill out the information to potentially receive a complimentary flight through Qatar Airlines before the offer ends. It's the least we can do to thank those who are doing all they can to save us.
Though the coronavirus has yet to be fully contained, Mexico wants tourists to visit Cancun as early as June. HERE's everything you need to know about the initiative!
